TMS Accountants and Advisors has been family owned and operated since 1985. Our Ethos is to provide an informative and friendly service to our clients.

If you are considering our services, here is a quick run down of how we operate:

Fee Structure

We run a time-based fee structure. This allows us to reward clients that are organised and allows us to spend more time helping those that need our additional support or advice. We use this structure after finding that set fees are usually more expensive and/or provide a limited value service.

We run targets on expected job completion costs and are happy for our clients to query or discuss the costs or invoices with us. At the end of the day, the trust given by our clients is something that we cherish the most and if there are any concerns, we want to make sure they get the time to discuss it with us.

Advice and Assistance

We encourage clients to reach out to us whenever they have a problem or need advice. This allows us to fix the problem or provide the advice before it escalates into a bigger issue that costs significantly more to fix.

Verbal advice is our preferred method of communication due to it being the most cost and time effective way of communicating for all those involved. For complex advice it is recommended a written summary of the advice is requested for referencing purposes to help prevent misinterpretation.

Team Mentality

Being a small family owned business allows us to work together as a team. By doing so this provides a better value service and a quicker turnaround time to our clients. This also gives us the ability to delegate the best suited team member to the job.

Clients are always welcome to request a specific person to complete their work.

Billing

For smaller clients invoices for our services are provided after the completion of their financial accounts or tax returns.

For medium and larger clients invoices are provided on a regular monthly or quarter cycle.

Invoices generally include advice given throughout the year, however if a large amount of advice is sort, then we will complete an interim invoice.
